Our website and online shop are hosted on Shopify servers in the United States that utilize the latest technology and security infrastructure. Shopify stores your data securely behind a firewall. You can learn more about Shopify’s privacy measures here: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
Data Encryption
Our website utilizes SSL (the predecessor to TLS) encryption. This cryptographic protocol is a security measure that provides authentication and data encryption between servers, machines and applications operating over a network (for example, you connect to your webserver). It protects the transmission of confidential content via our website. In your browser address tab, you will be able to recognize the encrypted connection when you see "https" in place of "http". Some browsers may also display a lock icon in the address bar. Third-parties cannot view any data that is transferred to us through our SSL encryption.
Payment Processing
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a security standard for organizations that handle credit and debit card information and was created to increase controls around payment data to reduce fraud. The PCI Security Standards Council manages PCI DSS, a joint effort of Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB International, and Discover Financial Services.
Our website and shop are PCI-DSS compliant in addition to extra security measures we take to ensure your data is well protected. Adhering to these measures helps our service providers and us ensure that your information is handled with the utmost care and security.
When you checkout through our shop, you have the option to pay via all major credit cards (processed by Shopify Payments, powered by Stripe) or via Paypal. As two of the world's leading payment gateways, both Shopify Payments and Paypal are PCI DSS compliant.
